Anonymous organisation: supporting the establishment of independent churches.

This anonymous organisation supports the establishment of independent churches in the Kurdish regions. As a result, a place where few people had hope has been transformed into a place of hope. Thousands of believers are telling their families and friends about the Lord Jesus and giving Him first place in their lives. People are being freed from their old beliefs and ways of life and are learning to know the Bible in word and deed.

Testimonies of believers in the Kurdish areas.

Brother G. works as a welder in a company in Kurdistan. Every day, he carries five New Testaments in his bag. During his break, he tells those who want to hear who the Lord Jesus is for him. Several colleagues have already started reading the Bible and two of them have accepted the Lord Jesus as their Lord! G. has started a small house church with them. Various couples arrive on mopeds. They have all fled from the neighbouring country and are trying to build a new life here. Each of them has a story that reveals much sorrow, but also courage. They have lost everything because of the choice they made: to follow Jesus. They have found a treasure that is more important to them than family, possessions, honour or safety.

They work hard, some have two different jobs, but when they are called for a Bible study, they take time off to be able to attend.

Shaima* works in a beauty salon and asked her boss if she could leave a little early. He wanted to know why, and Shaima didn't want to lie about it. A little afraid, she told him what she was going to do. Her boss closed the salon an hour early and asked Shaima if he could come to the Bible study with her. That evening, he gave his life to the Lord Jesus. ‘This is the answer to my questions. Jesus is the Person I saw in my dreams. I want to follow Him!’ *fictitious names
